Administrative Assistant
Linda graduated from Philadelphia University and studied abroad in Copenhagen with a B.S. in Environmental Sustainability. She’s participated in a green roofs project, creating prototypes to presented at community science fairs on the importance of green roofs in cities. She had a year long internship with the EPA, with the Air Protection Division using an Environmental Justice Screening tool to create a map to show the correlation between student’s asthma rates and proximity of industrial sites to their schools.
She has a special interest in educating communities on sustainable development to prepare for climate change and to bring awareness to environmental issues. She’s excited to be involved with MovieMindGreen because it will give her a chance to look at sustainability from the film industry’s perspective.
Graphics/On-set
Alexandra Velasco is a multimedia artist hailing from Mexico City with a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons the New School for Design. She combines her passion for film and art with her innate belief in living a sustainable lifestyle through her work with MovieMind Green, where she is a graphic designer, content creator and on-set green habilitator. In addition she is also the artist curator and media director for Sunstock Solar Festival, an annual solar powered zero-waste music and arts festival in Los Angeles, which allows her to learn more about how to mix art and environmentalism.
